This reminds me of when we were in Spain a few years ago for a wedding. The brides father was a big wine enthusiast (and rich). So in honor of the occasion, he ceremoniously popped the cork on some VERY expensive wine (sorry, didn't catch the name). Needless to say, it was the best wine this "po'boy from Tennessee" has ever laid lips on. I actually felt guilty when he offered me a second glass. (Yes - I took it, I didn't want to be rude)
Meanwhile, the brides very eccentric-flamboyant-outspoken (lets just go ahead and say it - crazy) Aunt from the North country, was intrigued by the American snacks we brought. Apparently the bride was hooked on Skittles and Kraft Mac and Cheese from her visit to the states. So we took the opportunity to expose this fine Spanish woman to the finer things of America- namely - Cheese filled pretzel Combos.
So she grabs a couple of these tasty treats and tosses em down the hatch. So with her $1000 glass of wine in hand she yells at the top of her lungs (in Spanish of course) "These are Mother F#$#%ing Good!!!!!"
After a quick translation for the bride, we couldn't stop laughing.
So add that to your list of great wine "combos" - pun intended.
